DOCUMENTARY ON COAST GUARD POLAR ICE BREAKING
The CG Oral History Project contractor will work with Center for Arctic Study and Policy (CASP) and the United States Coast Guard to conduct interviews with USCG cuttermen who served on polar ice breakers in the 50's, 60's and early 70's. The related research and interview footage will then form the basis of a film documentary on the topic to showcase the rich history of the Coast Guard polar ice breaker program.
