DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION SATERN TRAINING
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
NASA/HQ Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management (EODM) Division requests the purchase of the What If Factory "Anti-training" video based learning series and guidebook developed by Dr. Steve L.Robbins.
NASA/HQ intends to issue a Sole Source Procurement to the S.L. Robbins & Associates for series which includes twelve training videos along with facilitator questions for each video, as well as three bonus videos. Closed-captioning is provided for all videos. The authority is only one responsible source 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1)."Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (See FAR 6.302-1)
This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures(SAP).
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualificatins to perform the effort in writing, by FAX or E-Mail, to the identified point of contact not later than 12:30 pm. local time on June 16, 2014. Such capabilities/qualificatins will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communication are not acceptable in response to this notice. NASA Clause 1852.215-84 (NOV 2011), Ombudsman, is applicable.
