The U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors, (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.67 intends to issue a Sole Source Award to Front Porch Digital resulting from this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Div Archive Software Upgrade as commercial items in accordance with format of Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The authority for negotiating on a sole-source basis with Front Porch Digital made under authority of 41 U.S. C. 253(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, which provides for limiting competition from only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519. This Solicitation Number BBG50-Q-14-0071 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) that will result in a single award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract, using FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures) procedures to provide Software Upgrades for pre-existing Div Archive System. . Front Porch Digital will maintain the existing maintenance and support for Div Archive software and equipment.
