DIESEL ENGINE REPLACEMENT AT KENT AVENUE RESERVOIR
SCOPE OF WORK
Removal and discarding of the existing Dorman 800 Hp Diesel Engine and components
Supply and installation of the following new equipment where required;
o Diesel Driver with cooling system
o Exhausting
o Speed reduction mechanism to align with the pump
o Coupling
o Driveshaft
o Controls
o Base plate
Include the reworking of existing/remaining equipment required to interface with
The existing water pump will remain and require interfacing with
All electrical connections to existing electrical service and facility control system should be
included
Drawings and documentation are required to be provided to the Region upon completion of work
All equipment required to perform this work must be supplied by the contractor
Must be an all encompassing turn key start to finish solution, guaranteed to work
Must be a Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel or Cummings Engine
