The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Great Lakes Region 5, is announcing an opportunity for the "DHS/ICE Security Camera Upgrade" project at the Rock Island Federal Building and US Courthouse at 211 19th Street, Rock Island, IL 61201

The scope of work of this project includes providing all the necessary equipment, material, labor and supervision to provide security camera upgrade installation per the specifications described in the drawings and scope of work.


This procurement is a total small business set aside. Funds are presently available for the project. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 561621 with a size standard of $20.5 million. The total estimated construction cost of this project is less than $25,000. This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening.


The awardee will be competitively chosen using Source Selection (FAR 15.3) procedures. The objective of the Source Selection Process is to select a proposal that represents the best value to the government. The solicitation will be available on or about May 20, 2019.


All contractors must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, to be considered for award. BE ADVISED: If you are registering a new entity in SAM.gov, you must provide and mail an original, signed notarized letter stating that you are the authorized Entity Administrator before your registration will be activated. If you are updating, or renewing your registration in SAM.gov after 4/27/18, you must also provide a notarized letter before your updated registration will be activated. A pre-proposal site visit has been scheduled at the project location on Tuesday, May 28th at 11:00am (Central Time). Please confirm your attendance via email to jordan.waldschmidt@gsa.gov by Thursday, May 23rd. 


Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s) if any to the solicitation. Offers will be due on or about June 7, 2019 by 4:00pm (ET).
