This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to support a market research report on behalf of the Defense Contract Management Agency. This is not a request for offers. This RFI is published on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov, from July 5th, 2017 through August 9th, 2017.  All information must be received on the closing date of the solicitation by 11:59p.m., EDT.  For the purpose of efficiency and speed, all submissions shall be e-mailed to LTC Steven G. Dyer at steven.g.dyer3.mil@mail.mil.

This RFI focuses on three classification codes and respective NAICS codes as shown below.  Therefore, this RFI is published under each respective classification code and NAICS code.  Please reference the attached document for more information.     

The purpose of this RFI is to seek industry comments, specific historical or current examples, outcomes, proposed solutions and recommendations on implementing the proposed solutions.  The Department of Defense seeks public comment on reducing the regulatory burden of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) part 252.  This request for information complements Executive Order 13771, "Reducing Regulation and Controlling Regulatory Costs" issued by the President on January 30, 2017 and Executive Order 13777 "Presidential Executive Order on Enforcing the Regulatory Reform Agenda" issued by the President on February 24, 2017.
