DEVELOPMENT OF POINCIANA INDUSTRIAL CENTER
Announcement Info : Miami-Dade County is soliciting proposals to provide for the financing, design, construction and management of a development on three (3) parcels of contiguous County-owned land located in the northwestern edge of Liberty City (an unincorporated neighborhood in Miami-Dade County, Florida) known as Poinciana Industrial Center ("Site"). The Site comprises approximately 289,456 square feet or 6.644 acres. It is the County's preference to issue one award for all three parcels. However, the County will consider Proposals received for the development of one, two or all three parcels. The County may select a single Developer, or two (2) or three (3) separate and independent Developers. The Proposer may elect to acquire or lease the Site from the County; however, any Proposer proposing to acquire the Site must still submit its Proposal in a manner that meets the County's goals, which include the creation of the 97 full-time (or full-time equivalent) job opportunities (or 33 jobs per parcel) within the five (5) year period of full execution of the lease agreement with the County or conveyance of the Property by the County to the selected Developer(s). The term of any agreement will be dependent on what the Proposer proposes to develop and through a lease or purchase of the Site.
