DEPARTMENT OF NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT (DND), INVITATION FOR BIDS. For contractors
Contingent upon the approval of the Public Facilities Commission (PFC), the City of Boston, acting through its Director of the Department of Neighborhood Development, 11th Floor, 26 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the above-entitled project.
Bids shall be on a form supplied by the Department of Neighborhood Development, shall be clearly identified as a bid, and signed by the bidder.
All bids for this project are subject to all sections 29 and 44A-J, inclusive of Chapter 149 of the General Laws, as amended, and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents Entitled: DND 65 East Cottage Street Building Demolition, Project #B5060B.
THE SCOPE OF WORK:
Includes the demolition of the existing unoccupied building located in Dorchester as well as the abatement of asbestos and hazardous materials.
The building shall be removed in its entirety. Refer to "Section 01 11 00 - Summary of Work" for more information. There are no Filed Sub Bids for this project.
