The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office intends to negotiate a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis with Road Solutions for 9,600 Gallons of Ice Bite S, Deicing Chemical, in support of the Commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, MIDLANT, Mechanicsburg site. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit Road Solutions on a sole source basis, based on Road Solutions since they are the only known source for this item at this time. This Notice of Intent is not a Request for Competitive proposals.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
