DCEO Public Relations & Marketing RFP
The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (the Department or DCEO) is looking for a public relations agency/vendor to assist the Department in the planning and execution of marketing communications programs on its behalf. The marketing and communications programs will promote economic development, job growth, and quality of life in Illinois. This will include targeted industry segments such as site location and expansion, international trade, local government, workforce development, community development, homeland security market development, energy and recycling, coal, film, and business development including small business, the Illinois Entrepreneurship Network, and disabled and minority owned businesses.
The emphasis of this proposal is to promote economic development with the Agency's established program and service areas through innovative marketing and media relations opportunities that will build awareness of Illinois' economic development platform, generate new programs to stimulate economic growth and drive interest in Illinois' core trade industries and public. The primary focus will be domestic with the potential for international markets projects as they relate to existing international trade office efforts.
