The government has a requirement to replace all signage at the Washington DC VAMC (WDC VAMC). This scope of work will be performed at 50 Irving ST NW. With our Veterans and their families and visitors in mind, we have a need which will increase patient satisfaction scores while increasing productivity of employees and complying with Joint Commission standards and recommendations.

The wayfinding / signage system is crucial to the user s experience and safety at the VA Medical Center. This system enables users including veterans, their families, and medical center personnel to quickly and easily navigate through new and unfamiliar surroundings while providing clear information. This request will allow the VA to perform a comprehensive update and retrofit to this existing system providing an interchangeable, consistent and unfailing signage and wayfinding system to our Veterans.

This requirement is for the retrofitting of the existing sign system, and therefore the name brand limitation of Creative Signage products are required to fit the existing system. The contractor shall match the specification exactly. It is essential that signage required be designed, delivered, and installed in order to coordinate the timely delivery and installation and integration essential for government operations.

The RFQ will be posted 9/6/2019 and will close 9/20/2019.
