This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Bureau of the Fiscal Service on behalf of the United States Mint. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain industry feedback on the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) (Attachment 1) and to identify potential sources that are both capable of and interested in providing the goods and services outlined herein. The information received will be considered for the purposes of refining the PWS and developing a prospective vendor pool for any subsequent solicitation that may be issued for this requirement. Please note, in accordance with 31 U.S.C. § 5136, no provisions of law governing procurement or public contracts are applicable to the procurement of goods or services necessary for carrying out the United States Mint programs and operations.

The United States Mint, a bureau within the Department of the Treasury, is interested in obtaining customer feedback through stationary survey kiosks at their Headquarters, Denver, and Philadelphia locations, as well as mobile kiosks to be used at conventions, trade shows, etc. An explanation of the requirement is included within the PWS document (Attachment 1).

A solicitation may be issued at a later date at the sole discretion of the United States Mint, and response to this RFI does not ensure a respondent's inclusion in any resulting solicitation. In the event that a solicitation is issued as a result of this RFI, invited parties will be required to respond separately and formally in order to be considered for contract award. Please note that any subsequent solicitation will not reference this RFI.
