The County currently uses a manual “take a number” system and
signage to direct the customers to the counter to obtain service. Many
customers will take a number and not read the signs. This causes the customer
to wait until their number is called to find out that they should have lined up by
the appropriate sign. The County Tax Office is looking to replace the current
manual system with an automated electronic queuing system.
