Custodial Maintenance and Grounds Maintenance
This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or firm requirement. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is utilizing a Sources Sought for Market Research to determine if vendors have the capability to fulfill the requirement. This is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) for a tentative requirement for Custodial Maintenance and Grounds Maintenance. No Request for Proposal (RFP) exists; therefore, responses to the RFI are not proposals to which ACC-RI can issue orders.
ACC-RI is issuing this RFI to determine if an adequate number of qualified interested contractors are capable of providing Custodial Maintenance and Grounds Maintenance (services) described below. The U.S. Government will use the responses received for information/planning purposes and to identify potential sources as part of market research.
Description of Services:
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform full custodial, lawn and grounds maintenance, and periodic services. Please see draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for further details.
Anticipated Period of Performance:
Base Year: 01 October 2017 thru 30 September 2018
Option Year One: 01 October 2018 thru 30 September 2019
Option Year Two: 01 October 2019 thru 30 September 2020
Option Year Three: 01 October 2020 thru 30 September 2021
Location:
The 832nd Transportation Battalion is a military organization located at the commercial Port of Jacksonville (JAXPORT), Jacksonville, FL. The intention of this RFI is to obtain custodial maintenance and grounds maintenance services to the 832nd Transportation Battalion, Buildings 8675 and 8675-100 Maritime Street, Blount Island, Jacksonville, FL 32226.
All information received in response to the RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. ACC-RI will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned.
