Cultural Arts Master Plan
The city is looking for someone to develop a 5-15 year plan to develop cultural activities.
The City of Corona is seeking to identify areas of opportunity for the advancement of the arts and cultural development within the City of Corona to improve the quality of life for residents of Corona and visitors to the area as a means to enrich the desirability of the community as a whole. The City of Corona is seeking a comprehensive effort to evaluate and expand arts and cultural venues and activities within the community which is a comprehensive effort to evaluate arts and culture in the community. The purpose of the Cultural Arts Master Plan is to complete a current inventory and develop a broad overview of the cultural assets within the community; to create an all-encompassing assessment of the communitys arts, artists, arts audiences, arts education, public art, arts facilities, and systems of financial support; and to incorporate relative to planning efforts in tourism, downtown revitalization, and economic and community development. The Cultural Arts Master Plan will not only identify the community needs and desires, but will also define the role of the City in supporting and expanding arts and culture in meeting the Citys broader goals, integrating the arts into the Citys daily business.
