Crossbar Cutting Tool Expression of Interest (EOI)
The purpose of this inquiry is to determine your interest and qualifications as a possible Offeror to provide of the
Crossbar Cutting Tool(CCT). The Procurement Specification (which will be made available at a later date) will
require the supplier to provide labor and material for the design, fabrication, inspection, testing, documentation,
and delivery of a Crossbar Cutting Tool. A Technical Requirements Summary is attached to this Expression of
Interest (EOI). Suppliers, either directly or through sub-tier suppliers, that have previous design and fabrication
experience with Cutting Tools are encouraged to respond to this EOI.
This project has considerable Savannah River Remediation LLC (SRR) Management and Department of Energy
(DOE-SR) interest. The final version of the Procurement Specification is expected to be approved by
approximately August, 2014.
SRR will only use the information obtained in your response to this EOI to determine your firm's ability and
interest in providing this equipment. This EOI is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Once the EOIs are
received and reviewed, the companies with technologies of interest to SRR will be issued a Request for Proposal
(RFP) in October, 2014. Award of a Subcontract based upon the response to the RFP is anticipated in
approximately November, 2014.
