PROJECT INFORMATION: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies necessary to perform Crop Tree Release on the George Washington & Jefferson NFs, James River and Warm Springs RDs, Alleghany and Bath counties VA
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Successful offeror shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to release crop trees utilizing chainsaws or other handheld tools.
LOCATION: The project areas are located on the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests in the counties of Alleghany and Bath in Virginia.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Contract time will be 180 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed
SITE VISIT INFORMATION: A pre-bid site visit IS scheduled. The meeting is scheduled on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 9:00 am. Meet at the Warm Springs Ranger District office located at 422 Forestry Road, Hot Springs VA 24445.
CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the following website: www.sam.gov to be awarded a contract resulting from this solicitation. Registration is this system is free. Assistance is available to help contractors register in SAM. Contact the Contracting Officer for additional information.
SET-ASIDE: This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 115310 and the size standard is $7.5 million.
PAYMENT PROTECTION INFORMATION: No bonds required.
SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Request for Quotation Number AG-3395-S-17-0018 and all related documents are posted and available for downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Quotations must be submitted by April 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.
