Criminal History Record Check Services

The Department requests information and recommendations from the community to assist the department in the planning and development of a Request for Proposals to conduct criminal history record check services for service providers who care for children and dependent adults served by the Department. The Department plans to enter into a competitive procurement process to fingerprint and/or conduct background checks which are required for individuals applying to become child care providers, day care and personal caregivers for dependent adults, adult residential care home operators, foster and/or adoptive parents for children, and other persons that provide care or have access to residents in a variety of health care settings.
