Creating a Strategic Technology Plan for the JCPA

Over the past decade technology has facilitated many important advances, particularly in the community relations and public policy field. JCPAs traditional bricks and mortar infrastructure remains strong. However, we have not been able to keep pace with the rapid changes brought about by the spread of new Web 2.0 technologies. Through a comprehensive strategic technology plan, we hope to evaluate our current use of technology, identify technical tools that would increase our organizational capacity and efficacy, and develop a phased implementation plan to deploy these new (or refined) tools. We envision the plan providing direction and goals for a five year time line, with a one to two year technology implementation period.
