Creating a Shared Vision for the Future of Coastal Management
The Coastal States Organization (CSO) is announcing a Request for Proposals to develop and execute a stakeholder process to inform the future of coastal management. Proposals are being sought for a contractor to:
*Design a process to gather input and test ideas among stakeholders around the nation;
*Convene and facilitate the stakeholder process;
*Work with the CSO and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to develop core principles and specific options to consider in their respective proposals to reauthorize the Coastal Zone Management Act.
The project will be conducted from January – July 2007. Proposals should not exceed $135,000. Proposals must be received by 5:00 PM (ET) on Friday, December 15, 2006.
This project will be carried out in partnership with NOAA and is funded under a cooperative agreement between CSO and NOAA.
