Covert Surveillance Equipment
The State seeks to purchase Covert Surveillance Equipment. The Department has need of covert equipment. A confidential procurement is imperative in that the systems being purchased are covert surveillance equipment to be utilized in the investigation and detection of criminal activity. Disclosing information and specifications and the fact that the Department is purchasing and subsequently will own and be utilizing this equipment would compromise the Department’s investigative efforts and would jeopardize the operational effectiveness resulting in a monetary loss to the Department.
