Covelo Water main Replacement

Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about May 21, 2019.
Description: The intent for this contract is for the labor equipment and materials necessary to replace the water main at the Covelo Ranger Station. Items of work include by are not limited to: Removing and replacing approximately 465 feet of 3 inch water main, 130 feet of 1 inch laterals, gate valves, anti-siphon valves, valve boxes, fire hose pipe stands, patching asphalt and disinfecting water lines.
Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any incidentals necessary to accomplish work on the Mendocino National Forest.
The contractor shall carefully examine the existing conditions and information, shall become familiar with the nature and location of the work, the conformation of the ground slopes and terrain, the nature of the soil and subsoil conditions, nature and extent of the materials that will be encountered during the construction operations and any existing site conditions that may affect the project, prior to the beginning of work.
Location: This project is located at the Covelo Ranger Station of the Mendocino National Forest.
Price Range: $25,000 - $100,000
Estimated Start Date: July 15, 2019
Contract Completion Time: 30 calendar days after Notice to Proceed
Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
Response Location: Offers will be accepted electronically or at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than date and time indicate on the solicitation.
