Courier Services - Kansas City MO VA Medical Center
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, on behalf of the Kansas City MO VA Medical Center, anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price Service contract for the furnishing of courier services. These services are being acquired in accordance with FAR part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 492110 - Couriers and Express Delivery Services, which has a size standard of 1,500 employees. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) participation only. It is mandatory that SDVOSB offerors be certified on the WEB site https://wwwVip.VetBiz.gov. Responses received from non-certified offerors will not be considered for award.
Information and Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents for this solicitation are posted with this synopsis as attachments. Please see the attached RFQ for a Statement of Work (SOW), terms and conditions. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for posting of the solicitation package, addenda to the solicitation and any other pertinent information. Offers shall be submitted in accordance with the solicitation section E.1 - INSTRUCTIONS FOR QUOTATION SUBMISSIONS. The government anticipates awarding a contract for a base one (1) year period with up to four (4) optional year periods. Award will be by best value trade-off, considering price, technical capabilities and past performance.
