County of Augusta, VA-Audit Services -Volunteer Fire-Rescue Agencies
: The Board of Supervisors of Augusta County, Virginia (hereinafter called the "County") invites qualified independent certified public accountants (hereinafter called "auditor") to submit proposals to perform financial and compliance audits for the fiscal years ended December 31, 2010 through 2012 for volunteer fire and rescue agencies within the County of Augusta.
The contract will consist of a (3) three year term with the option to renew for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. The renewals are subject to a recommendation by the Augusta County Board of Supervisors, the successful and timely completion of the previous year's audit and financial compliance, the successful negotiation of terms, including a price acceptable to the County and the selected firm, as well as the availability of budgeted funds.
