County Rideshare Website

The Council is seeking proposals from qualified firms to
develop a website for the Rideshare Program in the County. The goal of the website will
be to strengthen brand/identity, develop a memorable message, conduct social marketing and
target diverse populations. The website shall be specifically created to address the transportation
needs of San Benito County commuters. The County's commuter profile consists of 48 percent of
its workforce traveling outside the County for employment. In addition, almost one-third of
residents within the City of Hollister are under the age of 18, which are likely to be primarily
dependent on walking and bicycling as their primary mode of transportation.
