County Human Resources Benefits Consultant
Mecklenburg County is planning to market most of its health and welfare coverages during 2009. The current plan is to market the medical, prescription drug, dental, FSA, vision, life and disability plans. Mecklenburg County is determining whether it is interested in contracting with a benefits consulting firm to assist in marketing these benefit programs. We have released this Request for Information (RFI) to help determine whether Mecklenburg County will contract with a benefits consulting firm and which firm has the requisite capabilities and experience to assist us in these efforts. Its been our practice to conduct an RFP every so often under our procurement policy to determine the most cost efficient vendors, and to identify vendors who are best suited to help Mecklenburg County meet its benefits objective. At this time, Mecklenburg County is not sure whether a separate RFP will be conducted in the future.
