On March 13, 2008, the Business Advisory Committee recommended to the Workforce Board (and the Workforce Board endorsed) that the regional service delivery be put out to bid, suggesting that the CCWI Board of Directors solicit requests for proposals for the Workforce Investment Act service delivery in the six counties region in time to begin service delivery with one service provider on July 2009.
