Correct Legionella Phase 2
The Beckley Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Beckley, WV requires an experienced contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform work for Correct Water System for Legionella Phase 2 project, at the Beckley VAMC as required by drawings and specifications. Project shall consist of installing mixing valves and new stops on sinks on the basement, first, second, third, fourth, and sixth floor in building #1. The installation of two Digital Recirculation Valve s in Rm BB103 in building #1. The installation wireless Online Continuous Quality Water monitoring system in building #1, #7 and #10 and the installation of a hot and cold water line from building #1, room BBB103 to Building 35, room # B111, as detailed in construction documents, which will be provided with the solicitation.
This is a Pre-solicitation only. Interested contractors should watch for the issuance of the solicitation which will have specific instructions and requirements associated with this procurement. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or after July 9, 2018 with a bid opening on or around August 10, 2018. These are ONLY tentative dates. The solicitation will have specific dates, times, and locations for the bid opening and site visit. The magnitude of construction per VAAR Part 836 is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238220 , Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors, with a maximum business size standard of $15 Million. All interested parties must be verified in VETBIZ as an SDVOSB prior to submitting a bid.
