Coral Gables Waterway Stabilization Project Phase Xiii
Scope of Work: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work.) Work under this Contract includes furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment and performing all operations required to construct the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Work includes but is not limited to perform the necessary restoration of eroded canal embankments along the canals right-of-way or maintenance easements. Work may include but shall not be limited to one or all of the following general tasks: 1. Clearing, grading, excavating, placement of backfill, installation of rip-rap boulders and or sand-cement rip-rap, repairs to drainage outfall headwalls, installation of miscellaneous drainage structures, relocation and repair to existing guardrail and sodding as needed. 2. Additionally, other miscellaneous items have been included in the bid form to facilitate payment to the contractor, should those items be needed to complete the restoration as required by Work Orders in accordance with the specifications contained herein. 3. All areas within the top of banks and slopes shall be restored to the slopes and elevations required as per the standard details and shall be vegetated or seeded to promote re-vegetation. Erosion control measures shall be instituted as necessary in order to protect areas prone to excessive erosion.
