Copy Editor-Writer (PSC)
The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is a US Government Agency and is seeking a full-time Personal Services Contractor (PSC) to perform the duties of a "Copy Writer-Editor" in the Department of Congressional and Public Affairs.
Provides copy-editing support for a variety of department and agency content, including but not limited to web content, blog posts, social media content, contributions to U.S. Government reports, opinion pieces, speeches, press releases and press advisories, etc. Writes and/or edits contributions to the MCC blog. Writes and/or edits speeches for MCC staff, talking points to support Communications plans and strategies, press pitches, press releases and press advisories. Works with CPA Communication staff and across MCC to develop and write and/or edit op-eds, letters-to-the-editor, journal entries, white papers, etc.
