Coordination and Delivery of Weatherization and Energy Efficiency Services
The City seeks proposals from an applicant to coordinate with existing Massachusetts utility weatherization and energy efficiency programs to delivery no-cost or low-cost energy retrofits to small businesses in Boston while promoting the Mayors green workforce goals. The funding for this grant comes through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). Under this grant, the City of Boston intends to target energy-efficient improvements for small businesses that lease or own their facility. This sector has been identified as one that has been underserved by traditional federal and utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs.
