Controller's Office Debt Collection and Accounts Receivable System
The State Purchasing Division will accept sealed proposals from qualified vendors to leverage Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) and related technologies to create a centralized Debt Collection and Accounts Receivable (DCARS) management system to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the debt collection administrators within the State Controllers Office. This system must streamline, unify and standardize the related financial workflow processes of debt collection, collection of employee overpayments, and Accounts Receivable reporting. In addition to streamlining operations, the State Controllers Office is committed to utilize the XBRL framework to create a common and reusable data taxonomy based on WC3 global standards for reporting and tracking by multiple agencies within the State.
