Contractor Services for Installation of GPS Modification Kits into the AN/VRC-92E Radios

The U.S. Government is seeking sources to support a contract for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for the country of Taiwan. The purpose of this Market Research is to identify sources that can provide support for the installation of GPS Modification Kits into the AN/VRC-92E radios, in-country. The equipment GPS Modification Kits (RT-1702 P/N 8229416G1), GPS Antenna (P/N CP1400003-G1), and GPS Cable Assembly (P/N 8174949) have already shipped to Taiwan and will be made available for the contractor to install GPS modules into the AN/VRC-92E (RT-1702 SINCGARS Radios). It will be expected that the contractor will bring necessary tools and test equipment needed for installation and testing of the radio to ensure that GPS Modules installation was successful. Only personnel certified and authorized by the manufacturer are permitted to install the GPS units inside the sealed radios
The contractor must be able to provide services at the OCONUS location. The contractor must be ISO 9001-2008 certified. The contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Please submit all responses, to include a detailed description of contractor qualifications and experience no later than July 28th 2017.
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does it issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement.
