The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron is issuing a sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties with an interest in and necessary capabilities to support a Contractor Operated Civil Engineering Supply Store (COCESS). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the type of small business set aside and method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 444130.
The projected contract will be a 6 month bridge with an expected start date of 1 Oct 2018 lasting through 31 March 2019.
Please see attached SOW for description of work to be performed.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this sources sought is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in your response.
If your firm is capable of providing the requirements described in the attached Statement of Work, please provide a capability statement to by 27 June 2018 @ 1400 MDT. This statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience in contracts with similar efforts. Interested parties shall not submit more than a 10 page capability statement. Published literature may be any number of pages. At a minimum the following information is requested: (1) Company Cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact and their telephone number and e-mail address; (2) Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.); (3) Indicate if your company primarily does business in the commercial or Government sector (8) Indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under for Government contracts.
The Government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and otherwise anticipated. THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK IS A DRAFT ONLY AND MAY CHANGE SUBSTANTIALLY. IT DOES NOT REFLECT WHAT WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE SOLICITATION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
The interested vendors list of this notice will not be used for decision making purposes for any small business set asides. For your business to be considered as a potential vendor for set aside purposes you must submit a Capabilities Statement as requested by this notice. Failure to do so may result in your business category not being considered as part of a decision by the government to set aside.

Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the services listed in the attached statement of work are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice. ALL RESPONSES UNDER THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE MUST BE EMAILED TO ALL MEMBERS LISTED BELOW:
