The National Institutes of Health (NIH), The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open basis with the vendor ForteBio Inc., 47661 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538 for consumables for the Octet machine 1). Protein A Biosensors - Twenty trays of 96 biosensors coated with Protein A, Part # 18-5013, Qty 1 each, 2). Streptavidin (SA) Biosensors - Twenty trays of 96 biosensors coated with streptavidin for quantitation, screening, or kinetic applications, Part # 18-5021, Qty 2 each, 3). Anti-mouse IgG Fc Capture Biosensors - Twenty trays of 96 biosensors for the immobilization of mouse IgG or other proteins containing the mouse Fc region for kinetic analysis, Part # 18-5090, Qty 2 each, 4). 384 well polypropylene microplate with black tilted bottom, 100 per case, Part # 18-5076, Qty 2 each and 5). Service Shipping and Handling, Part # S9200-0024, Qty 1 each. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one source available, no substitutions possible, and replacement items must be compatible with existing equipment. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. All responsible sources that can provide these consumables may submit a response that will be considered. The response should include the certification from ForteBio Inc., that you are authorized to obtain the consumables for the Octet machine. All responses in writing shall be submitted to Lawrence Bland Jr. at blandl@nih.gov. All responses received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
