Consulting Services on: Economic and Workforce Development, Forecasting, Analysis, and Trends

The organization is seeking proposals from firms and individuals
(Proposer) that are headquartered within Palm Beach County, Florida, who understand the
local business environment/economy and are interested in providing consulting services to
the organization that will provide diverse varying opinions on workforce indicators.
The scope of work for this procurement includes consulting services by Proposer to:
Analyze the labor market including Palm Beach County, Florida and other areas outside
of Palm Beach County specified by Alliance;
Recommend occupations for job growth;
Provide relevant, expert commentary from academic and private sector economists
based on issues specified in advance or questions from Alliance;
Provide analytic support for evaluating labor market data against the range of data that
Alliance collects;
Create indices that employ both local and national data to predict economic conditions
three to six months in advance;
Study, develop and apply economic theories and concepts to workforce development
issues;
Compile, analyze, and report data to explain economic phenomena and forecast market
trends;
Print and provide 50 report hard copies to Alliance staff/Board describing the results of
the above services. Reports will be delivered for the months of June 2011, August 2011,
October 2011, December 2011, February 2012 and April 2012. Dates/months are
subject to change at the sole and absolute discretion of Alliance;
Present to the Alliance staff/Board results of the above services. Alliance Board
meetings are held at noon, the third Thursday of months of June, August, October,
December, February at 315 South Dixie Highway, Suite 102, West Palm Beach, Florida
33401. Dates/months are subject to change at the sole and absolute discretion of
Alliance;
