Consultant and Engineering Inspection Services
The Department is seeking expressions of interest from consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineering services for:
A Bridge Repair and Coatings Inspection contract for the Districts of Hampton Roads, Richmond, and Lynchburg. This contract will provide construction engineering inspection services under a Fixed Billable Rate Contract. Inspection (including all incidentals necessary for the prosecution of the work) will include, but not be limited to, the inspection of bridge approach work, bridge repair work such as; deck repairs, superstructure repairs, abutment and pier repairs, piling repairs and bridge coatings. This contract will be for a one (1) year contract period with two (2) optional one-year renewable terms. The proposed one-year contract will have a maximum compensation not to exceed $3,000,000.00.
