Construction of TBPC Project No. 06-011-0405.
In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 2166.2533, and Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Building & Procurement Commission (TBPC), TBPC is soliciting proposals for construction of TBPC Project No. 06-011-0405. The Project consists of construction of a new Texas Ranger Headquarters and Education Center at the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum located at I-35 and University Parks Drive in Waco, Texas, for the Texas Department of Public Safety (the Project). The scope is an approximately 9,000 sq. ft. wood frame structure with a stucco and stone veneer, an aluminum window system, and a standing seam roof. MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCES: The mandatory pre-proposal conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. and Monday, January 22, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. The location of both pre-proposal conferences is the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco, Texas (IH-35 and University Parks Drive). Respondents must attend at least one of the two (2) pre-proposal conferences. The TBPC reserves the right to reject Proposals submitted by firms that did attend one of the mandatory pre-proposal conferences.
