Construction of Left Turn Lane
The work includes construction of a Left Turn Lane involving the addition of a dedicated left turn lane. The Route will be widened approximately 4’ on the west side with the addition of curb & gutter. The existing southbound shoulder pavement will be used as a southbound through lane. Route 1 will be milled, overlaid, and re-striped throughout the project limits. The total length of the project is approximately 1600’. The project includes pavement widening and resurfacing, curb & gutter, minor water and sanitary sewer adjustments, pavement marking, erosion & sediment control, and grading.
