Beginning January 18, 2011 through the City's Bids Online website at which time and place all pertinent and project specific information will be posted for the purposes of obtaining bids. Such information shall include but not be limited to posted location of plans and specifications, date and time of a mandatory pre-bid conference, and the date and time for receiving and opening of the bids. At the pre-bid conference, project staff will be available to answer questions related to the bid documents and the project. In general, the work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to complete the Former Shipyard 3 Bay Trail Improvements adjacent to the Point Potrero Marine terminal located in the City of Richmond, California. The specific work includes but is not limited to the construction of earthen trails, retaining walls, pavement striping, and directional signage. Additionally, the work includes the construction of Graving Basin overlooks which include the clearing and grubbing of the existing site and the installation of concrete paving, walls, and railing.
