The United States Corps of Engineers is soliciting for Construction Materials. Construction Materials for the Indiana Harbor Combined Disposal Facility, East Chicago, IN, wherein, the Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary facilities, plants labor, transportation, materials, and equipment to provide and deliver Coarse Aggregate, Landscape Stone, Riprap, Topsoil and geotextile fabric to the Indiana Harbor Combined Disposal Facility located at 3500 Indianapolis Boulevard, East Chicago, Indiana 46312
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Solicitation Number is W912P6-14-R-0012 and is issued as a RFP. The NAICS code for this requirement is 327999, with a size standard of 500 employees. COMPETITION FOR THIS ACQUISITION IS UNRESTRICTED TO BUSINESS SIZE.
BASIS FOR AWARD: A firm-fixed-priced Commercial Items Contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible contractor submitting the lowest aggregate price for the items included in the above Bid Schedule. Split or multiple awards will not result from this quote.
QUOTATION SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
IN THE CASE OF A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE DATES PUBLISHED IN THIS NOTICE AND THOSE CALLED OUT IN THE SECTION MARKED "GENERAL INFORMATION," THE DATES IN THE BODY OF THIS NOTICE OVERRIDE THOSE PUBLISHED IN THE SECTION MARKED "GENERAL INFORMATION"; THIS IS RELATIVE TO THE RFQ ISSUANCE DATE AND THE DUE DATE FOR QUOTATIONS.
ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE PROCESSED IN THE SAME MANNER AS THIS SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. ALL QUOTES MUST CLEARLY INDICATE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER and be sent to MAJ Christine Warren, Contract Specialist, by way regular mail to the address identified in the Solicitation document. Offers must be submitted NO LATER THAN 4:30 PM (CST) ON July 22, 2014.
