Construction Manager
Seeking Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide Construction Management as Agency Services for an 117,000 GSF addition to the Institute for Human Performance. The expertise and resources of a Construction Manager are required for constructability review of the design documents, estimating, scheduling, bidding coordination and construction contract administration of this major project. This project proposes to expand the building to the east within the nomimal footprint of the existing parking area. The new addition will include one level of parking and three levels of research laboratories, comprising of 117,000 GSF of space. Two of the three floors will be research laboratory space and one floor will be a vivarium. The exiting building will require limited renovation to accommodate the new addition. The project design will meet the requirements of a LEED Silver rating, with a focus on energy conservation and indoor air quality.
