Construction Management Support Services for Runway Safety Area (RSA) Program

1. The City and County of San Francisco ("City"), acting by and through its Airport Commission ("Commission" or "Airport"), is soliciting Proposals from qualified Construction Management firms, teams, joint ventures, joint associations, or LLCs (hereinafter "Proposer," "Team," or "Contractor") to provide construction management ("CM") support services for the Runway Safety Area ("Program") at the San Francisco International Airport ("SFO" or the "Airport").
2. The Runway Safety Area (RSA) program background is as follows:
The RSA Program is enhancements to Runways 10-28s (Phase I) and 1-19s (Phase II) and is necessary to comply with Public Law 109-115, which requires airport sponsors to enhance RSAs according to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airport design standards by no later than December 31, 2015. The first phase of the Program is in the bidding and early construction stages of multiple projects.
3. The successful Proposer will provide construction management support services for Contract Number 9230.9, for Phase I and Phase II of the Runway Safety Area (RSA) Program. These services are required to support Airport staff with navigation-aids design and overall construction management of this Program.
