This project will consist of, but is not limited to, the removal of two boilers and all associated equipment, the relocation of an existing oil fired boiler and converting it from #6 to #2 fuel, renovation of the existing building to accommodate the new chip storage and distribution system, and other building related functions, construction of a 9,500 +/- sq. ft. addition for the two new boilers, ash handling and emissions control systems, fuel delivery system, steam to hot water conversion room, a future turbine generator room, a new emergency generator, and a temporary steam heat system. A purchase order has already been issued for the chip handling equipment, boilers, ash removal and emission control equipment. The Construction Manager will be responsible for providing a public relations person.
