The purpose of this RFP is to solicit additional qualified contractor(s) to provide additional capacity for the construction management services component of REBUILD's residential wind retrofit program.
BACKGROUND:
Rebuild Northwest Florida, Inc. (REBUILD), a not for profit corporation, was formed to assist uninsured and underinsured citizens of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties to repair their owner occupied residences that were damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Ivan. REBUILD's mission was not only to just repair existing homes that survived Hurricane Ivan's destruction but to also strengthen them to better resist future high wind events that will occur in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
