Construction Engineering and Inspection Services (CEI) For Local Agency Program (LAP) Projects
CITRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS invites professional engineering consultants who are prequalified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to submit a Statement of Qualifications for Construction Engineering material testing and Inspection (CEI) Services for the County's Local Agency Program (LAP) Projects.
The requested CEI Services generally consist of contract administration, inspection, quality control, and acceptance testing. The proposed Services covered under this Request for Qualifications are only for the County's Local Agency Program (LAP) Projects. The County intends to select three prime consultants to perform the required services for all Local Agency Program (LAP) Projects overseen by the County and the Florida Department of Transportation.
To submit a Response, Respondents, including their proposed sub-consultants and sub-contractors, must be pre-qualified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in the following Workgroup types:
3.1 Minor Highway Design
7.1 Signing, Pavement Marking and Channelization
7.2 Lighting
7.3 Signalization
8.1 Control Survey
8.2 Design, Right of Way and Construction Surveying
9.1 Soil Exporation 9.2 Geotechnical Classification Lab Testing
9.3 Highway Materials Testing
9.5 Geotechnical Specialty Lab Testing
10.1 Roadway Construction Engineering Inspection 10.3 Construction Materials Inspection
The County has entered into Local Agency Program Agreements (LAP) with the FDOT. The FDOT will be overseeing all aspects of these projects to ensure that Citrus County is in compliance with such. The Successful Respondents will be required to participate with and assist the County in meeting all requirements therein.
Under the Florida Department of Transportation's DBE Program, County has committed itself to a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 9.54 percent. Consultant will be required to endeavor to assist County in meeting this goal as part of the performance of their services.
