The project includes the conversion of 2.175 miles
of Lincoln Avenue between Rotherwood Avenue and
Hebron Avenue in Evansville, Indiana from an
undivided four-lane urban facility to a three-lane
design with a two-way center left-turn
configuration. The proposed improvements involve
removal of existing pavement markings from
Rotherwood Avenue east to Vann Avenue and
application of new lane and pavement markings
according to the three-lane configuration. From
Vann Avenue east to Hebron Avenue, the
improvements will involve a milling and overlay of
the existing pavement, replacing non-ADA
compliant curb ramps, and application of the new
lane and pavement markings.
