Construct and Install Signs inside Building 36000
Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to construct 2x exterior signs and install 17 directory board tables inside building 36000 at Fort Hood, Texas. The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. The contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. All work under this contract will be performed within the confines of the Fort Hood Military Installation, at Fort Hood, TX. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: TX190279 01/04/2019 TX279; Superseded General Decision Number: TX20180333; State: Texas; Construction Type: Building; County: Coryell County in Texas, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price or $5,000,000 whichever is less. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. An organized site visit will be conducted for this procurement on 3 July 2019 at 10:00 AM CST. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation.
The bid opening will be conducted on July 30, 2019 at 2.00 P.M CST, please refer to the solicitation for additional details. Contract performance period will be 180 days after notice to proceed is issued. The technical exhibits will be available for inspection without charge thru the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents. Interested parties must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov to receive a government contract award.
