Construct Two (2) Replacement Water Wells in the Rainwater Basin Wetland Management District

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Region 6, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to construct two(2) replacement water wells in the Rainwater Basin Wetland Management District; located in Clay County, Nebraska. This procurement action is being solicited as a Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction; with a size standard of $ 36.5 million. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000; with the anticipated price being in the middle of the range. The performance period is 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. The Notice to Proceed date will be negotiated. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, "Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts" and FAR Part 15 "Contracting by Negotiation".

This work involves constructing two (2) wells as defined in the Statement of Work. Detailed requirements and/or specifications are listed within the solicitation. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror providing the best value to the government, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation.

Solicitation package number 140F0618R0012 includes the Solicitation Form (SF1442), Statement of Work and other attachments as required. Contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this requirement. The SAM site can be found at https://www.sam.gov (this is a free service). Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database.
