GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The scope of this project includes general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, security fence, and gates. New security fencing and gates to be provided along west, north, and east property lines. Includes bid allowance to repair fence along southern property line. Includes necessary removal of existing fencing and certain other items. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, coordination and services required to perform and complete the work as described in the contract drawings and specifications.

SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d) and in accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care and Information Technology Act of 2006. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) and visible/certified in Vet Biz (www.vetbiz.gov) as an SDVOSB at time of submission of their firm's proposal to be considered. Offerors MUST ensure registration in these websites are accurate, complete and have not expired prior to proposal due date.

NAICS CODE: The NAICS code assigned to this construction project is 238990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $15M.

MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00

SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The tentative date for posting the solicitation documents to www.fbo.gov is on or about July 11, 2018, with proposals due approximately 30 days later. These are only tentative dates. By registering to "Watch This Opportunity", Offerors will be notified by e-mail of postings. The solicitation will have specific dates, times, and locations for a site visit and proposal submissions. This requirement is anticipated to result in a firm-fixed-price contract. Dissemination of the solicitation, specifications and drawings is limited to electronic medium only. Interested contractors should watch for the issuance of the solicitation and for notifications of updates by registering at www.fbo.gov. An Offeror's mailing list WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer.

SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of amendments will NOT be issued. By registering to "Watch This Opportunity", Offerors will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers in accordance with FAR 52.215-1 [Instruction to Offerors Competitive Acquisition], Paragraph (b) [Amendments to solicitations].
